Here are a few really interesting findings from my RD… subsequently, all point to a bullish scenario for ERII.
1. Since 2005 to 2007 revenue grew over 300%, and earnings (yes, positive earnings
) grew over 600%.
2. A paper regarding Desalination writen in Feb. 2001, states:
“By 2025, the growth in the municipal waterdesalination market will need to reach 14.8 million m³/d, 200%, to maintain the current urban municipal domesticwater needs and to prevent any decline in renewable groundwater resources in the 10 water scarce countries selected inthis study.”
Thats a lot of growth.
3. An interview with the Chairman HP Michelet conducted last year on sramanamitra.com is a great one. (highly recommend reading the entire interview.)
The interview explains the company’s history, and the tremendous effort taken to create the desalination product they have. (Any long-term investor, or engineer, would appreciate.) It also touches on some macro-economic water issues the world faces. Good starting points for research. (I could have written an entire article on the contents of the interview alone.)
As for the risks… see the ‘Risk Factors’ in the online filing.
