History

History in the making.

The United States of America is about to have one of the largest, if not the largest, voter turn out in history so that history can be made.

I love everything this election symbolizes. It is not about the traditional way, but the quality of the man.  It is about the flexibility of the American idealogy. Americans are not held hostage to any concrete way of thinking.  There is no ‘normal’ in the traditional sense.  ‘Normal’ in America is innovation… progress.

A Suggestion to Naples

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

Use your garbage to make electricity, this will solve your problem of excess garbage. (Heck, you can probably start making money by importing garbage when you can not produce enough to create the electricity.)

Naples has a problem with the amount of garbage piling up, and no one wants to do anything about it. (The people in charge over there are apparently morons for letting this situation get out of hand.)

Get innovative, or lose your city to shit, literally.

Probe Away!

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

I hope congress probes so far up the FDA’s ass they find all the BS corruption that is preventing Provenge from conditional approval. (The very sick should at the very least been given the opportunity to take this treatment.)

Probe away and clean house!

Good news for DNDN.

Interesting stuff from Iran

Friday, November 30th, 2007

I thought this to be very interesting.  An Iranian TV program showing sympathy to the Jewish people during World War II. (article)

Whatever anyone says of what this program is designed to do, there is no question art plays a role towards the belief of a people. (And Islamic states understand this very well.)

With the state allowing this program they are allowing their people to have sympathy toward what the program promotes, which will ultimately structure a belief around that sympathy.

Chavez is such a Isolationist

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

I feel sorry for the people of Venezuela. Every day I have been reading about Chavez and his lsolation theme.  Chavez has managed to piss off many South American countries, including Brazil, and cut political ties with Spain and Columbia because he himself was insulted.  (Talk about a selfish act, and a plea to gain support amongst the economically disadvantaged.)

The man is crazy, too aggressive and hurting his country.  Leaders should learn from Google. In fact a PhD student in Management should conduct a paper on how benefit of Google’s ‘partnership’ biz model works so well. It would essentially be a play book from Nash’s principal of equilibrium twisted in mordern/global times.

When the world is global and dependent on partnerships, isolating a country with global players, like Spain, is horribly wrong.

Note to Sarkozy

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

This current riot is like the millionth this year in France.  If he really wants to stop the riots, reforms are needed to properly assimilate your immigrant citizens.

Doubt that will ever happen, as most of the native french can give a rats ass.

Of the many things I love about America, the most impressive is its ability to quickly assimilate a people… for the most part anyway.

Interesting words from Putin

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Putin’s words are getting more and more interesting. Amid his speculation that the US is provoking an election boycott…

“We will certainly take this into account with our bilateral ties with this state,” he added, referring to the US.

Do Demacrates Like Shooting their Feet?

Monday, November 12th, 2007

I do not understand the Demacrates.  They finally got back some political muscle, and are making headway into 2008, yet still they must find ways to destroy their chances.

Rumors are circulating that they will eliminate tax credits for Solar from the Energy Bill.

Are these guys for real? With crude near $100, a war in Iraq and a potential war in Iran, they are thinking about taking away incentives for alternative energy.

Are they stupid or just blind to reality?  Do they not see “Green” is popular? Did they not notice NBC Universal push their “Green” week onto millions of people via their entire range of networks?

Do they want to give the republicans leverage?

So I ask yet again… Are the Demacrates Stupid?

Or are they allowing the rumor to circulate so they can see how much people actually care about this stuff? (However, I do not think they are that clever.)

Turkey Flexes

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

After Turkey passed their resolution to go after the rebels in Northern Iraq, I could not help but think ‘did US congress really not expect this’?

I find it interesting that now, only a few days after the US congress seeks to recognize the Armenian massacre.  Obviously it was a touchy subject for Turkey, as they immediately withdrew their ambassador, and low and behold, less than a week later they plan on going into northern Iraq. (Something they wanted to do in 2003-2004, after the major push by the US forces was completed.)

I get a strong feeling this whole situation can be squashed if congress stops focusing on what happened in WWI, and focuses on the present. (Not to diminish the severity of a massacre, but what good does it serve to create political uncertainty for the sake of recognition? This tragedy can be forever remembered in ways outside of politics.)

I have a feeling this event will be over by the end of the month, facilitating a market correction.  Got to love politics.

Dictatorship ah-rising

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

Ecuador is seeing signs of dictatorship… just a heads up. (article)

A few Latin American countries are reverting back to dictatorships… not good, but for now it is no real problem either. (Except for the oil/commodity companies in these countries.)
